Hiillos
Hiillos is an art piece / side table for Furniture Design course (BA) / 2019.
Hiillos is a interesting combination of art piece and side table. The material has been used solid oak. The surface of the mid part of the side tables leg is burned and finished by oil. Other wooden parts are finished by poppy oil.
Hiillos is inspired by this photo of the burned wood pieces and charcoals. The contrast between burned wood and natural wood is really interesting detail. Minimalist, geometric and raw structure is big part of the design.
